Some of the best things in life happen when we are not looking for them, like learning to dance Salsa, meeting the Boyfriend or discovering a passion for designing textiles. This has been a rollercoaster year, starting with the beginnings of the collection and culminating in the launch of my website. I am deeply grateful to everyone that encouraged, helped, and criticised (in the best sense) me over the past 12 months or so. I have learned so much, which has been a blast. I have even managed to hold my temper with technology, mostly. I confess to breaking the code on the site a couple of times, much to the consternation of the Boyfriend. I have promised not to stab the computer when the Wheel of Doom is circling, but to wait patiently, you know, like a grown up.
Thank you to everyone that’s followed me and liked and commented on my work. I am very grateful that you take the time to let me know what you think.
Thank you to Duncan, the very talented resident designer at William Clark & Sons, for his endless patience and his wonderful insights. I very much doubt I would have got far without his unfailing help.
Thank you to my friends and family for their support and encouragement. And for asking those difficult to answer questions!
And a huge thank you to the Boyfriend, for his patience (there’s a theme here!), his unstinting support and encouragement, not to mention his technological wizardry. I have yet to discover something that he can’t do!
Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas… See you all in the New Year
